Welcome to an afternoon of fun as you learn the art of cookie decorating while enjoying the company of others.  You’ll have the chance to relax, unwind, laugh, and learn to create your own masterpieces for family and friends for Christmas.  This is class is requires absolutely no experience.  So many people are fascinated by these little works of edible art and wonder how it’s done.  Well, I’m going to show you how.  Once you learn some of the techniques, tricks and tips, you’ll be on your way to making your own delicious and beautiful cookies.

So…WHO’S IN??

 

WHEN:        Sunday, July 12th

TIME:           1:30 to 5:00 pm  OR   7:00 to 10:30pm

LOCATION:  Bennett Masonic Hall, 11 West Street, Corner Brook

 

CLASS INCLUDES:

 

• A box of 8 blank cookies will be waiting for you at your seat
• You’ll learn techniques such as outlining, piping, flooding, wet on wet technique along with the difference consistencies of icing and how to apply this to your cookies.  
• Basic Sugar Cookie Recipe
• Royal Icing Recipe
• A holiday or winter theme scribe.  You’ll need this to help smooth your icing when you create your own works of art at home.  Its comfortable to hold and much easier to use than a toothpick.  Comes with a little charm attached. ($15.00 value)
• Beverage and snacks:  Choose from the Mimosa bar, tea, coffee, water, soda along with some yummy sweet snacks and some healthy choices to be served during break time.  
• Lots of doors prizes
• When class is over, put your finished cookies in your box to take home and enjoy, and don’t forget your scribe!

*NOTE:  this is non-refundable.   Seating is limited, and your seat has been held and reserved just for you (along with your box of cookies).  You are more than welcome to collect your cookies, scribe and icing “to go” should be unable to attend class.
